got this as a replacement for mr. froggy who has had his hands and feet mangled by bedtime loving. in size, shape and features, it’s identical to the frog from 2 years ago but a different fabric. the old fabric was a soft terry cloth. i preferred the old version. my son took to mr. froggy 2 right away, he didn’t mind the difference. now he sleeps with both of them. we also have the brown and blue monkeys, equally loved for naps. this is my son’s favorite frog. We have three of them, one for daycare, one for home, and one spare. This is a pretty durable frog that has been through the wash a few times. He has been dropped in mud and taken several unintentional baths. (Well, not intended by me, my son fully intended to dunk him in the water.) We have one frog that was made in 2009, and it is a little less durable than the two we got in 2010. It is made with a slightly different fabric. You can tell the difference between the 2009 and 2010 instantly. So, be warned that they aren’t all alike – but the change from 2009 to 2010 was for the better. They must be improving the design. If you want your kid to use this as an attachment object, you might want to order a few at the same time so that you aren’t stuck trying to pass of a slightly different frog off as the treasured lovely after the original one gets lost. Love it!!!,

I got this for my son’s nursery (because it is frog themed!) and when it arrived I was very pleased at how good condition it was in! Very soft and cuddly! My 4 year old daughter didn’t want to give it up to put in her brother’s room!!! So had to order something for her! |
