Sometimes it doesn’t take a lot to make a little girl happy. She really wanted one of these and it’s one of those rare instances when the ‘as seen on TV’ item does live up to expectation.

The Pillow Dog or rather dog pillow is one of the softest pillows I’ve ever touched (on the furry side) and, of course, it can be folded in to look like a dog when not used as a pillow. Our 8 yr. old girl just loves it and it’s been her pillow for the past several days. We are happy with this item because she is happy.

On the technical side, it’s 100% polyester, both cover and inside filling but, surprisingly, it does NOT accumulate static. The label claims that it’s ‘surface washable’ and that it’s made in China. The 18-inch size is measured when the dog unfolds to form a 9″x18″ little pillow.

For what we paid, this was a worthwhile purchase. These toys are offered by many vendors at Amazon (with or without free shipping) and elsewhere and prices vary so it pays to do some research before placing an order.

Note on ‘size’ and advertising. As I mentioned above, the PILLOW, as measured by me, is 18″ when unfolded. The folded Panda is only 9″. The TV commercials make the folded pillows appear HUGE – they are either using very small children or larger pillows.

No, these are “Pillow Pets”, yes they are knock offs of the “original”. With that said, these are a great value since my young children couldn’t tell the difference. The quality seems to be good, although they haven’t been handled roughly or washed just yet (we just got them a few days ago). If something crazy happens, I will update my post. However, for now, these seem a much more reasonable deal compared with the insane prices being asked for the “pets” with the big marketing department that chooses to run commercials over all the children’s channels.

If you are hesitant about the quality I would say – definitely feel comfortable purchasing these (purchased three), they are cute enough, cuddly, and will probably last as long as the interest your child will have in them and they are 1/3 the cost of the “other” guys.

this product was awful the tail was torn off when I received it I dont have time to return it so I threw it away. I dont think I will be ordering from your company again.
